We are currently working with a well-established, industry leader within the internet security field. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team to facilitate growth across EMEA. The employee will contribute to driving lead generation into Germany, Austria, and Switzerland while working from our clients’ office in London. Business-level proficiency in English and fluency in German are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and/or exceeding targets for cold calls, meetings and qualified opportunities
  • Identifying and qualifying new sales leads over the phone
  • Calls and introduction emails to marketing generated leads in central EMEA
  • Following up on marketing campaigns, qualifying any leads and passing opportunities to the appropriate salesperson for further development
  • Developing and managing a pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • Driving registrations for company and regional events
  • Using the Internet, sales intelligence tools (RainKing, DiscoverOrg, salesforce.com) and social media sources to identify key executives at target companies and to monitor sales activities

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role
  • Worked within a quota-driven environment and exceeded goals
  • Experience in a high-growth technology/software company preferred
  • Impeccable follow-up, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident phone manner
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Experience with Rainking, DiscoverOrg and salesforce.com preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or related fields
  • Native proficiency in German and business level English are required
