A leading security vendor with an impressive portfolio of security solutions are looking for a Network Security Sales Engineer to join their team. The Network Security Sales Engineer will specialise in presenting their Next Generation Firewall solutions to customers in the UK and across EMEA, working closely with the sales team.

The vendor combine decades of experience with cutting edge solutions such as CASB and Security Analytics in order to secure their place as one of the most disruptive forces in the market, recognised by Gartner as a Magic Quadrant leader for 9 years running.

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Presenting Next Generation Firewall solutions to prospective customers in the UK and EMEA, acting as a technical bridge between the customer and the sales team.
  • Lead and Manage customer POCs and create accompanying documentation.
  • Lead Technically RFI/RFP customer opportunities in collaboration with sales team.
  • Consult with customers in order to find technical solutions to meet their needs utilising company products and solutions.
  • Work closely with channel partners on opportunities and offering technical advice.
  • Provide expertise surrounding technologies such as modern malware, virtualised environment security, scripting, orchestration tools, application signature customisation, centralised management and SD-WAN.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales Engineer experience within a security vendor.
  • Advanced knowledge of security solutions including Next Generation Firewalls, IPS/IDS, AV security, Centralise Management, Virtualisation, Network, routing, DNS Services, Advanced Malware, and SSL.
  • Proven successful experience in a sales environment working closely with sales teams.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and creatively.
  • Excellent client facing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience working on accounts with complex environments.
  • Previous experience working with channel partners.
