A new and exciting cyber security start-up are looking to hire their first pre-sales consultant as they begin to grow and expand their London based team. They have secured a large amount of funding already and are led by cyber security experts with over 15 years’ experience in the industry. The pre-sales engineer will work closely alongside sales, acting as a technical expert during sales opportunities.

 

 Responsibilities 

  • Professionally engage in business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with C-level audiences and stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide technical support throughout the full sales cycle for both customers and partners
  • Liaise with product managers to improve products with new features that aim to tackle customer need
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly products/services sales goals
  • Manage remote proof of concept installations

 Requirements 

  • Strong customer facing experience and pre-sales experience in IT Security
  • Experience with Public Sector, Government or Defence, desirable
  • Strong development, delivery and deployment experience
  • Previous success in a sales environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of Linux and scripting
  • Background in network security (load balancing, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
