Our client is a well-established cyber security vendor who provide a wide portfolio of innovative security solutions to clients all over the globe. They are seeking an experienced and talented Sales Engineer to help shape their Pre-sales function in the UK and provide expertise surrounding their cloud security offerings. The Sales Engineer will work closely alongside sales, acting as a technical expert during sales opportunities.


Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales assistance for sales opportunities, including performing product demonstrations and presentations at customer and partner sites, road shows and events
  • Assist in closing business in regional territories through visits to major account prospects
  • Work to understand the customer’s business challenges and provide a technical solution using products within the vendors cloud security portfolio
  • Respond to RFI,RFIs

 

Requirements

  • Strong background working in a Presales capacity for a security vendor/ working with security products and solutions in the cloud security space
  • Experience of performing technical presentations to C level audiences, both technical and non-technical
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud security solutions and technologies, including:
    • Internet security/ Email Security
    • Firewall technologies
    • Proxy technologies
    • Data loss prevention solutions
    • Anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway and SaaS)
    • CASB
  • Demonstrated ability to make and take responsibility for decisions on major technical issues
  • Commercially minded, with excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Brilliant communication skills, both verbal and written
